This is our 13th year organizing Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) for the community! It’s a tradition connected to Aztec/Indigenous roots and Spanish traditions. It is several days —of not mourning or sadness— Dia de los Muertos celebrates the lives of the deceased with food, drink, parties, and activities the dead enjoyed in life.

Come enjoy with us at Campos Community Garden. Bring an item for the altar (sheltered in the gazebo). It can be in remembrance of a loved one or someone you admired, especially those we recently lost during the pandemic.

We will commemorate Dia de los Muertos with kids making arts & crafts, Mexican hot chocolate & sweet breads, and ceremonial dancing by Cetiliztl Nauhcampa dancers (ceremony @3pm).
